Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, MUTO counters and phones are now closed. - 3/19/20: All shows at The Ark from 3/12/20 - 4/30/20 have been cancelled. MUTO will issue refunds by 3/27/20. MUTO will be in touch about check refunds for cash or expired cards.
- All shows on campus containing over 100 people have been cancelled from 3/12/20 - 4/21/20 per University of Michigan's announcement. Patrons will recieve an email notification of the next steps involving the cancellation. For Ark patrons, please refer to The Ark's website for protocol. Please contact The Ark for questions about safety concerns.
Need a refund for your cancelled performance?
MUTO has issued all refunds for March performances at U-M and The Ark. As of 3/20/20 we are almost finished refunding April shows at U-M and just beginning refunding April shows at The Ark. We expect to be finished with all credit card refunds by 3/27/20. Check refunds could take up to two weeks longer.
Paid by cash? Verify your address with us and we’ll submit for a check refund. Checks will be mailed or picked up at our Student Life Budget and Finance Office. Please reach out to us for more information if we haven't already reached out to you.
Change cards? If our ticketing system pushed your refund through please contact your bank or card issuer for next steps. It's likely that we will need to issue a check once the dust settles.
Why did you only get ticket face value for your tickets? The ticket fees support the infrastructure to sell tickets in such an accessible manner. It also pays for the staffing, mailing, accounting – and now the refund processing, communication, and logistic work MUTO does to ensure a positive experience so you can get your refunds. MUTO is charged back all refund and processing transactions, fees ensure our business doesn't lose money or charge money to our loyal clients.
